As I type this on Sunday, February 26, I’m watching Tottenham play Chelsea in 4K on NBC on YouTube TV. (What else would they say, right?)īut the execs weren’t kidding. In a media call with Apple and MLS officials, though, we basically were told not to worry about it and that we’d be plenty happy with the quality of the 1080p stream. ![]() ![]() So while it wasn’t really surprising to learn that Apple TV was “only” going to stream MLS Season Pass in 1080p, it was still a little disappointing. The quality of Apple’s 1080p stream is as good as any sport, and better than most. ![]()
